There are many in my neighborhood and their leaves turn the most beautiful yellow color in autumn. <br />Did you know the female ginkgo tree has messy sticky "fruit" that smells like rotten garbage? It's true! NYC has a ban on planting female ginkgo trees for that reason but there are some that exist prior to that ban in Central Park and some other areas. Obviously your neighbors have a male tree or Solar would not have been able to lie down like that on the ground.
