Sorry for so many pictures, but I got so tickled at Trixie working so for a dried up roll that I had to share them with you.
Yesterday as we were out walking, she stopped dead in her tracks and started the mission. She got a whiff of something in the snow.
Buried her nose in the snow for further investigation.Yesterday as we were out walking, she stopped dead in her tracks and started the mission. She got a whiff of something in the snow.

That Trixie! She is adorable! What a find to come across that roll in the snow...how PROUD she must have been!
LOVE the photos.
Oh, how cute~ great actions shots, too!
What a fun trip through the woods, for both of you!
My Jack Russell buries her treasures for later and we often find dog biscuits under the bed covers.
LOL! Trixie is too cute having her fun in the snow!! I know you enjoy her.
I knew from the title that we would get to see pictures of Trixie living it up in the snow! How fun!
FYI - "ACC's Daddy" is really Little Man's Momma who didn't realize "Daddy" had signed in to my blog under his name!
Sweet girl and pretty snow...I know who got a bath when she came in!
Cute. We get snow once about every 10+ years. We had some in February 2010 and our dogs loved it. The cats didn't, but the dogs did. :-)
Cute post, Nanny.... Trixie really worked hard for that treasure, didn't she???? What a cutie.....
We have had snow all day today also... It just won't quit... But--it is pretty.
You asked about heated birdbaths... Just google "Heated Birdbaths" and you will get all kinds of info. I got one for the deck --and ordered it from Amazon.com.
Hugs,
Betsy
Great pictures.
Have you seen the commercial with the dog and his bone and he can't sleep because he is so worried about it...he tries burying it and can't sleep so he takes it to the bank and puts it in a vault...still can't sleep without it so he gets it out...funny.
Such fun photos of Trixie, Nanny!
My friend brings her Jack Russel to the park when we walk in the mornings and I always get the biggest kick out of her! She thinks she is a big dog and growls at all the other big dogs. She tries to run after every squirrel she sees!
WE didn't get the snow. BOO!
Great post!
The only thing my dog ever buried was a Chicken McNugget from McDonalds!
But we love our dogs! I even took mine up to Ohio for Christmas vacation one year just so my dog could say he played in the snow once. (Like who is he going to tell, right?)
