Another day of 70 degrees and I have this strange feeling of something similar to spring fever. I feel the need to mop the floors!!!! Oh My! My question to you;
Is there any better mop than a good old rag mop? If there is I have yet to find it. The sponge mop drives me crazy when the squeezer thing breaks off and the swiffer is just for small jobs.....what mop do you use???? I'd love to know.
OK back to work.....
Have a great day.

I use an old rag mop too...they work the best...
I use one just like in your picture - Absolutely NOTHING better out there!
Mop? Well i simply don't! If ever there is a spill I will clean it up right away with a dishrag.
I wish I had one of those, and a broom too.
Solar.....seems like we keep forgetting to buy a broom on our outings.....I found your baby book today and sat and read every page...shed a fews tears along the way....
I to like the cotton string type mops, but they are so big and bulky and hard to wring out, when you don't have a lot of strength in your hands. My Mother found one, smaller version called a deck mop, and it's great. Gets around toilets and sinks easy, easy for me to wring out. I love it. In fact when I told her I didn't see any at our local WalMart, the next time I went to visit her, she had a new one for me, she found at her WalMart. I'm saving it until the one I am using is completely worn out.
Patty, I will definitely look for a deck mop!!!!
Oh I like the ones that have the cotton mop end but they twist up on the handle so I never have to get my hands yucky. Get the benefits and cleaning power of the old fashioned mop with the new fangled ease too.

You asked where my Mom got the mop, at WalMart. It's called a Cotton Deck Mop, and it says KING at the top of the little bag over the mop, it also says it's made in Mexico, just saw that, some people won't buy items if not made in USA. But no matter where it's made, I like it, does the job for me and I can handle it easily.
