My husband is on a hunting trip so it was no bacon, egg, biscuit and gravy day for me. No sir, just cinnamon toast and coffee.
Did you realize that there is a right way and a wrong way to make cinnamon toast? I didn't until I read this hilarious post of someone we all know and love...... The Pioneer Woman! You must read and enjoy the post and try her recipe and then let us know which approach you use or were raised on. I was raised on #1! From this day forward it will be #4 for me !!!!
I hope you all are having a great weekend!
GO HOGS!!!!!
Oh how I hope this is a good game! Fingers crossed for a victory!!!!

That's the most comments I've ever seen on anyone's blog - Dear GOD in Heaven!!!
Hi Nanny, I love cinnamon toast..... Haven't had any in a long time...
Your football team almost won... That young QB who replaced the main one is going to be fabulous!!!!!
Have a great Sunday.

Number 1 is the way I have always had cinnamon toast... who knew?? LOL! The Pioneer Woman, of course. Her post gave me a chuckle, thank you for sharing it. Number 4 sounds and looks yummy!!
So sorry about the Hogs, Nanny. Boo hiss.
Well, now I've got a new way to try. I was always a #1 kind of gal. Can't wait to do a little taste test.
who knew there would be a recipe for cinnamon toast!! i've alway thrown it in the toaster...gasp. it's my go to breakfast when we are rushing out the door. i'll have to try to the better version.
The toaster version has always worked for me, but I'll try anything once. Thanks for sharing!
Oh, how I love cinnamon toast. I'll go now and read Pioneer Woman's post and see how she does it. I butter my bread and cover every spec with a mixture of cinnamon and sugar and cook it under the broiler. Can't wait to see how she does it. Hmmmm...guess what I'll be having for breakfast tomorrow morning before tennis?
Hugs,
Kat
I haven't had cinnamon toast in years. I'm having some tomorrow.
LOL! I used method #1 my whole life but I have to admit Pioneer Woman's method HAS to taste better with all that butter in it! As Paula Deen says (and i concur): "Everything tastes better with a stick of butter in it!"
