I remember as a child hating to peel pomegranates, and if you got a bite of the white skin it was awful! I didn't hesitate to buy these beauties, and I can't stay out of them. So delicious and healthy.
These look wonderful and they are so good for you. The color makes them perfect for a Christmas table. I hope you are having a great day. Blessings...Mary
YUM! My mouth is watering! Think I will need to pick up one or two this week! I have never seen them already...what? Peeled, seeded?? I will look at our Sam's! Delicious treat!
I never knew they were called "arils'! I will hit my husband, the pomegranate eater in the family, with that tidbit tonight. I am not such a big fan of what I used to refer to as pom "seeds." I just can't chew the whole thing.
Thanks for sharing this find! My son & I love pomegranates. (When I give him one you'd think I just gave him his very own chocolate bar ;o) But you're right, they are a pain to get to and the white is so bitter it ruins the experience if you happen to get it.)
