Home Sweet Home!
Family came home from the hospital today and are all sleeping at the moment. I don't know who was the happiest today. Grandparents were all overjoyed, parents were ready for a nap in their own bed, Birdie and Cricket are exhausted from sitting by the window.....waiting, and sweet pea seems very relaxed in her new beautiful bedroom.

Oh my! How adorable! Congratulations to all :)
This may sound odd but when I came home after my son was born (many years ago), my mother made a chicken pot pie and still can remember how great it was...lots of veggies.

I have been anxiously awaiting a new photo. She is beautiful. I clicked to enlarge and she has such pretty, delicate features and all that pretty hair. I like the cupcakes on her blanket too! The doggies look so patient. The chicken pot pie Sunny mentioned sounds good and nourishing.
Chicken pot pie or chicken noodle soup were going to be my suggestions. Funny Sunny mentioned that first. Seems to be the choice of all.
oh so beautiful!! i haven't called as i know how those first few weeks are...send carrie all my love and sneak a kiss to sweet pea for me!! i love the idea of chicken pot pie! lots of fruits and veggies to kickstart that extremely healthy breast milk!!!!
Lasagna, turkey meatloaf (recipe on my blog just put it into search), lasagna!
Oh, she's so sweet! She's changed a lot already. I remember how wonderful it felt to be home with my babies. And I also remember how wonderful any food tasted! :)
Congratulations to the new parents and Grandparents. Also now the dogs have a baby (human) sister to watch over.
