As it moved to the east I stood outside and was determined to get a picture of lightning! This is the first one I have ever gotten. It is very difficult! You have to more or less freeze in a position and hold shuttle half down! There was quiet alot of lightning so I actually got two shots (out of 30)!!!!
I'm glad it is out of our area and hope the folks to the east are safe!

We must have gotten the same storm system you had. I tried to get a picture of lightening but wasn't fast enough. Thanks for the tip.

Very very nice - I've never been able to capture lightning strikes either - I've gotten lightning where it lit up the sky, but not strikes! You sure got some cool pics!
