Friday was the only day that we haven't had rain in a week!!! All of that rain means I can not mow, which means I have the prettiest mushrooms growing in the yard.
We had more rain this July than we have had in many, many years! Usually the grass is brown and dry and the sprinklers are on daily. Weeds have flourished this summer.................Storms in the forecast for the rest of today and tonight. The outdoor wedding we are going to tonight should be interesting. Poor bride and her sweet mother who have worked for months on this special occasion. I hope they get a break for the ceremony....

Hope the wedding goes off without a hitch We've had lots of rain here as well. First summer that I can remember that the finger of the reservoir near our house hasn't gone dry.
The Mister cut our grass twice this week. In 25 years he's never done that in August...maybe in the spring, but not the middle of the summer!
Love the mushroom pictures! My sis Willow posted about them today, too! Love the orange one!
Oh, let us know about the wedding...did they get to have it outside?
We have had an unusual summer as well...cooler, milder...lots of rain...very different.
The mushrooms are VERY pretty.
I would love to trade weather with you for a couple of days!
I hope the wedding doesn't get rained out! That's too bad. :0(
