Ouch! Go out and fry and egg on the pavement:-) Can you believe that at one time there was no such invention as A/C? It has cooled down here a but and the beach was actually breezy yesterday. Taking the day off as the grands are beached out but will be going to the pool instead. Seriously when you are on the island you need to stay in the water salt or pool:-)
It really is hot. It is hard to do anything in the day here. Even the pool water is hot. Oh, but at night there is a breeze and the pool is cool. Many a night I water my garden by moonlight. In my bathing suit!!!! Dottie
we are not that hot and if we get there it won't last more than a week or so (o: Have a great hot day! we don't have air conditioning so I would be in trouble.
Ours too, Nanny, here on the Cumberland Plateau in TN... This is the hottest June I can remember --at least since we moved here in 2003. Like you, we are enjoying our AC ....

good for our business...not so good for the gardens...

The weather. It's the thing I like most about living in VA. We hardly ever get this hot. We're melting in Texas right now!
