Sweet Mini

Locally it's not peak season for tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers, but it must be somewhere.
The flavor of these mini cucumbers, sweet peppers and cherub tomatoes is like a taste of summer.
I was in Sam's this week and picked up the 1.5/2.0 lb packages of these and have had a plate with every meal since.  I have to say the yellow peppers are the best I have ever had.

Yesterday I not only had a taste of summer but 80 degree weather to go with it.  It was wonderful.  I sat on the deck, read for awhile and even had a short nap.  It was so relaxing.  Today we are back in the 50's...oh, well.

I hope you have a great weekend and buy some Mini's!!!

that looks soooo YUMMY!

it got up to 73 here, yesterday, but we're back down to the 50's today, too... only 44 right now =0

it's cruel to throw us a warm day like that then take it away so suddenly... COME ON SPRING!
& it's only February, that's what's so funny, but shocking about the whole thing

Here in Hawaii, we have been having temperatures in the 70s. Lovely. Sunny but cool weather. Those veggies with the black pepper look yummy!

Definitely a taste of Summer for you in every way, Nanny... Our temp went up to 70 yesterday--but we had a taste of reality today...It's COLD again and supposed to go down into the 20's tonight.... Yuk..

Mmmm... That looks so delicious. Is it just pepper you put on it? I'm so glad you're getting such nice weather.

I saw those mini-cucumbers last week when I was getting some of the english ones and wondered about them! I'm going to have to give those a try. Are the peppers from the assorted bag of smaller than bell peppers??

YES, they will be here in 11 days!! Woo hoo! All knitting will come to a halt! LOL!

Have a great weekend! xo t.

We've almost worked through our entire sams bag already. These days I'm living off minis, thin mints, and cheddar cheese. Love the tulip picture!
