Randomness

Well hello all.  I am still alive and kicking.

I've been going to therapy for my knee but decided to stop.  No pain, getting around better that pre-surgery so calling it quits.

Had a bout with stomach virus last week......ugh!! Would rather have knee surgery/ha

Family came for the weekend.  We had our annual spring crawfish boil.  Yummy!

Lila and I stayed outdoors as much as we could.  The wind was blowing hard.  Kinda chilly.  That girl loves any activity outdoors.  We walked everywhere, rode the trail cruiser, chased Trixie, threw rocks, stirred the crawfish with a stick, ha.  Fun weekend.

I'm counting the days until baby boy arrives.  I find myself in the boy section of every store lately.  Poor boys, the selection is not what it is for girls.  I don't understand why, boys have to wear clothes too!

I'm trying to catch up with you all but find it hard to sit still in this warm weather.

Glad you are well and enjoying life. I have never eaten crawfish before. Is it like shrimp?

I would rather have knee surgery than get the stomach virus. Glad that's behind you!

You forgot to include taxes and a trip planning in the things keeping you busy!

I've been thinking of you and hoping that you are doing well! I lost your email addy so when you have a moment, I'd love for you to email it to me again. Also, I wanted to send you something via snail mail so if you feel comfortable sharing that address too, would be great.

We're having warm temps right now but wayyyyy too much wind yesterday & today. Rain is forecast through Sunday & cooler too. I'll probably just batten down and try to get a few things done inside. I always want to be outside when it's nice!

I finished my physical therapy but knees really hurt last night. Oh well...

A new grandson! How exciting, congratulations! It is so true boy clothes aren't as abundant as girls -- I don't know why, as they are just as cute!

Love the update - you have been busy. I know you must be overjoyed and counting down the days until baby boy arrives. I can't wait for that post! Sweet Lila is growing up so fast. Overnight it seems to happen, doesn't it. She and Alex need the same memo: SLOW DOWN, PLEASE!

Glad your knee is feeling so great. Just in time to soon keep up with your newest little family member. =)

PS - yes, boys DEFINITELY get jipped when it comes to the clothes. =(

I haven't been able to visit blog friends lately because of our son and his partner at home. Today was my one free day because they were off learning to scuba dive.

I agree that there seems to be cuter girl's clothes out there.

Sorry about the stomach virus. Yuuuck! I hate when I get that, too. I hope you're feeling 100% better.

I'm so happy your knee is doing well! I finally finished my almost 3 mos of therapy. It really, really helped! At times I have a little pain but at least it's 99% better. I sure have to be cautious about the shoes I wear now...having to give away a lot of them that are practically new.

It is hard to stay inside when it's nice isn't it? Yesterday and today have been entirely too warm & humid and about 90' predicted again tomorrow. That's June weather...not March! :-)

Take care my friend ~
