Two Favorites

I bought this tea on my shopping adventure at Central Market in Dallas and fell in love with the flavor.

Then I bought Simply Apple and warmed a cup for my tea bag and WOW, the flavor is so Fall/ha I love all of the flavors of Simply Juices, plus no sugar added!

My sis in law use to make the best hot cider tea for our family Christmas gatherings. She added all sorts of ingredients and brought them to a boil, and now I can have the same great flavor with one cup and one bag....oh the simple life!

While we are on the subject of tea; have you tried Paula Deen's recipe for sweet tea? I mean who needs a recipe for sweet tea??? Well I tried Paula's and it is just the most perfect tea (I do adjust the amount of sugar) Paula's:
7 tea bags
1 cup sugar
Bring 4 cups water to a boil in a kettle (or pan at my house) Add the tea bags and turn off the heat immediately. Place the lid on the pan and allow the tea to steep for 1 hour. Remove the tea bags and pour the tea into a pitcher. Add the sugar and stir to dissolve. Add 4 cups cold water. Serve over ice with a sprig of mint and a lemon wedge.

I also love The Republic of Tea, Pomegranate Green Tea flavor; so I substitute one or 2 of this flavor with the 7 in Paula's recipe.....it turns out so good....just a mild pomegrante flavor.

Is there anything Paula cannot do??????

AND I started this post at 9:00 AM, then interruptions started....it is now 7:40 PM and I think I am ready to Publish this one/ha

Have a good evening all!

I forgot about the teas! I'm going to have a cup in the morning. Letting tea sit is definitely the secret but I didn't know for an hour! An old guy patient of mine complained that the hospital didn't know how to make tea. Said it was burnt. I asked "Sir, how do you burn tea?" and he told me you can't let the tea bags boil in the water, only put them in to steep. Been doing that way since. MmMmmm...there is nothing better than a glass of fresh iced tea.

I have to make tea from my tea maker. It's nothing special..pretty boring actually and I've had to quit watching Paula at night because I end up going to bed hungry. Did you see her fried bananas? Oh, how I wanted one of those.

That Apple Cider Tea sounds just like Fall! And, no, there is nothing Paula cannot do. I saw a bit of her show yesterday afternoon while I was knitting on Little Man's sweater. She did some muffins I am dying to try! =) Nothing low fat there though!

On the subject of tea, I love Lipton's White Tea, Island Mango & Peach flavor. They are in the cutest little triangular bags and it is so good, I don't use any sugar or sweetner... perfectly healthy treat! Yum!

Ha!Ha!, your day sounds like mine, I get on the internet, start to play a game on Face Book, get interrupted, leave the game up on the screen and come back several hours later and usually have to restart my computer. I need to remember to either get off the internet when interrupted or shut it off completely. Glad I looked at shut, I had used an i instead of a u. LOL Probably a Freudian slip, because that's what I say to myself when interrupted. LOL

Want to thank you for the Birthday wishes.

Paula is on a pedestal at my house too! I'm hooked on apple cider this time of year. Come over to GrannyMountain to see where candycorn comes from...
