Let The Cooking Begin!




Step #1 of Thanksgiving Crockpot Dressing.....Done! It is hard to leave the cornbread alone and not just butter it up and dive in!

Next on the list is Pecan Pie....

Have a good day all, doesn't the house smell good with all of the baking going on?

I have the first pie in the oven and the bread dough rising. I need to start on my dressing next....yes, the cornbread...it's hard not to pick at it! ha!

It never occurred to me to prepare the cornbread in the crockpot. Now, that is a good idea! You are right, it's hard not to grab a piece and butter it up and enjoy.

Crockpot dressing is really good any time of the year...throw some shredded chicken in there and you've got a meal! ;D

I've got one pecan pie left and Paw and I are getting tired of it...LOL!
