I come alive when the temperature reaches 65 or above......
I planted pots of pansies and viloas. I moved the ferns from the garage to the outdoors. They actually did pretty well this winter and I think with a little shaping and some miracle grow they will be beautiful this year. The jonquils are blooming and I just want to stay outdoors all day long!!!!
The weekend didn't last long enough for me. The weather was perfect and we ended the day with fresh fish, fried to perfection and a movie! Law Abiding Citizen, starring Gerard Butler and Jamie Foxx, described as bold crime thriller!!!! Thriller it is! Not for the little ones but oh so captivating!
Have a great day all!

Oh my gosh - we watched the same movie this weekend. I had to stop watching a short way in. Jerry said it was so smart, though. He really enjoyed it. I took myself upstairs to watch reruns of Project Runway instead!
Your flowers are beautiful! We've got temps in the 60s today, and I've got the doors wide open! Alex and I are hitting the park when he gets up from his nap. =)
I know what you are talking about Amanda....the first 5 minutes were hard to watch....after that as the plot unfolded, I was hooked!
Ditto on the warm weather and coming alive. I do too! Anything below 75 is too cold for me. It still isn't warm enough for me in NC, but I do see warmth in site!!
Sounds like you had a perfect week-end. More are coming. Next week-end we have to change those darn clocks all ready. I wish we could take a vote as to whether or not we want to change them twice a year. I say, LEAVE THEM ALONG.
the flowers look so pretty, i can't wait to see more...
Hi Nanny, So you are in Arkansas? That is George's and my favorite state. We go to Mt. Nebo (and Petit Jean and Mt. Magazine) at least once a year. LOVE it... Where are you???
We had the same gorgeous weekend that you had here in TN... After a brutal winter, being outside felt so good.
You asked about our Bluebird house. Ours faces southwest --and the Bluebirds love it. It's on a pole --so squirrels and snakes cannot get to the babies. There is a big Rhododendron bush nearby for the babies to fly into once they fledge. Our back yard is shady --with lots of shade trees. It just seems to be a perfect place for them. I just hope they like the 'new' home...
Come back to my blog anytime.
Hugs,
Betsy
65? Oh my. That sounds lovely! Our snow if finally melting! We got in the 40's yesterday! :)
Doing the happy dance down here! Supposed to get to 74! Buds have burst forth just over the weekend! I am soooooo with you on the warmth!
Evan and I saw Law Abiding Citizen at the show... really gruesome. He was quite clever though.
