Early morning swim

He flew in for a quick swim....

Got out... dried off...

And was gone.
I loved watching him.

He needed a bit of a rest!

I found the Dallas mansion posts - at the bottom of my page in the archive list, click on Jan 2009 & you'll see the Dallas titles, there's several of them.

My grandson wanted to do that same thing this afternoon - I had a hard time convincing him that the water is still too cold in the lake. :) blessings, marlene

Gorgeous bird, Nanny ---and beautiful pictures. We saw some similar to these when we went to the state park a month or two ago. Love them!!!!

The school my kids attend is also home to many geese and ducks. There are lots of babies running around with their mother's right now. It's fun to watch! Recently, we discovered a nest with 13 eggs! Great photos!

It does look like the early morning, from the tint of the sky in the photo. I love watching the waterfowl at our lake. In fact, if I don't get out there soon, my ducks will be move annoyed with me. They love the dog food we give them. And then they float right by us, for hours.
