Nature's Potpourri

Can you smell it? It's everywhere!
As I drove home from errands this morning, the car was filled with the most wonderful fragrance.

I love the way it grows around trees, fences, anything it can attach to.

Add the scent of hedges in full bloom and it makes the most wonderful air freshener!

I love opening the windows and letting it drift in....
One day windows are open
Next day air conditioning on
Next day heat is back on
Will it ever just pick a season and stay with it??

The Honeysuckle around here hasn't bloomed yet---but it will soon I'm sure. I love to smell it also!!! We have a Confederate Jasmine bush in our yard which is in the Honeysuckle family I think---and when it blooms, it smells so good also.

You are right about the weather. It has been SO cold here since we got home from the warm beach.. I had to pull my sweats out of the winter closet.... Never thought I'd need them anymore this season... HA!!!!

Have a great day.
Hugs,
Betsy

Oh, my goodness, YES!!! The heady scent of honeysuckle makes me soooooo happy! LOVE it!! And, the jasmine... but, honeysuckle in the spring has to be right up there at the all time top of the pile for best ever smells!! Glad to see a post from you!! ;)

WE haven;t had any honeysuckle bloom her either. Come to think of it not much has started to grow yet, except weeds.

Hopefully we will have our garden tilled up by the end of the week and we' be able to set out our garden.

Take care-

Love me some honeysuckle. I stop and smell every batch I can when we take Alex on his walks. Yum. Honeysuckle, jasmine, wisteria and gardenia. Those are my favorites. Here's hoping tomorrow will be another open-your-window day!

Oh I could smell it during boot camp tonight. It was great, I know summer is here.

My nephew just came in an hour ago & commented on how honeysuckle doesn't taste as good as it did when he was a kid! LoL! That's funny!
I like that sign & how weathered it is! Cool!
