Think Again

Think you need lotion for that sunburn?

Think Again!
If you are suffering from a bad sunburn, don't reach for that expensive lotion. Just cut an apple in half, remove the core, and rub the apple over the affected area for three to four minutes to keen the sking from blistering or peeling.

This one is worth a try. Try not to need this folks, be careful and don't get that burn. As the weather heats up so quickly, burns can slip up on you! I got pink Sunday just sitting out for a short time. I didn't realize it was happening until I felt it..........

Have a good day all!

hopefully I won't need to try it...but if I do...thanks for letting us know....never heard of that cure...when I was in Galveston in 1980...that was sooo long ago...a little old lady told my friend to use preperation H....and it did the trick...got rid of the swelling and redness...

Thank you for the tip! A sweet friend and I are going to spent the weekend at the beach house. I always get to much sun. I will let you know if it works.

I was pink after Sunday but it was gone my Monday. Where was this apple advice this time last year when I was suffering in Key West?!!

I had never heard of that, Nanny. Hopefully, I won't be foolish enough to get a bad sunburn anymore... When we were at the beach, we used sunscreen---lots of it. It worked!!!!
