Home Grown Tomatoes

Can't get much better than a plate of sliced tomatoes....salt, pepper, chill, EAT

We have a plate with every meal, while they are plentiful. Mine will be ready to eat in a few more days but until then the fruit stands have an abundance to choose from....

South Arkansas is known for their wonderful tomatoes. I bought a box that was grown in Warren and they are delicious.

My favorite ways to have a tomato is on a BLT.....
Add a fried egg to this and you have the best breakfast sandwich ever.....

I hope you all had a great weekend....I finished washing windows....it feels so good to have them all clean plus the mini blinds...I'm on a roll!

Most of my tomatoes are still green. I don't know why! My little grandbaby Petra claimed one plant months ago. There was a ripe tomatoe on her plant today when she came to visit. She picked it and ate every bite!!

I have two things to say to the tomatoes: yum and yum! My favorite way to eat them is in a caprese salad. Makes my mouth water just thinking about it. I've not tried egg on the BLT, but that sounds delish, too.

Ok, I just got to read the treadmill story, and laughed till I cried. I'm thinking hubby might not let you live this one down! LOL! Maybe you'll get inspired again with the next Biggest Loser - especially when they do those two minute commercial break workouts!

I don't know how you stay so tiny, Nanny! You are always eating the best stuff!! There is absolutely nothing like a ripe tomato fresh off the vine... the tomato sandwich w/mayo... YUM. One of the ways I would eat tomatoes until I was almost sick when I was young was when the sweet corn would come in and we would make cream style corn... with fresh sliced tomatoes... oh, mercy!!

You were too sweet to send Little Man the sweet card and ball he loves!! Thank you for being so thoughtful... we'da loved to have had you with us!
