Moon Boots

My husband asked me where I got the moon boots?
Let me tell you about these babies...
I bought them from a Lands End sale catalog 2 or 3 years ago. I have worn them in snow and ice ....they still look new.... and are like wearing house shoes in the snow and are as light as a feather! So warm you don't need to wear socks.....I wouldn't trade my moon boots for anything.
Maybe this year I'll get a red pair!!!

LOVE your boots, Nanny! I have a love of boots in general, but this year I have discovered the comfort of the Ugg. Lordy mercy, they are ugly... my notion of where the name came from... but they are SOOOOOOO comfortable and warm! I am thinking I would love those moon boots, too. You go girl with the red!

Love your moon boots.... I don't have snow boots anymore --but this winter has made me think that I may need to get them. I can wear my hiking boots while outside in this snow --but those moon boots certainly do look warm.

Hugs,
Betsy

Did you have real moon boots in the 70's?
I think Lands End things are guaranteed for life??? Not sure.
I can never find the right boot that is not heavy and clumpy..maybe I should look into it (o:

I'd feel the same as you...if I had the chance to need to wear them! I love Land's End and also LL Bean! Those moon boots are so great looking and functional at the same time!

Nice boots, perfect for snow! I used to have a huge collection of boots when I lived up north, but got rid of them when I moved back to Louisiana. We're thawing out here, hope that you are, too!

Sometimes comfort and warmth wins over style. Period. I would probably wear these things every single day here - even when there wasn't snow - just to keep my piggies warm!
