Fresh Snapper!

Last weekend my husband went on his "Last" deep sea fishing trip! (or so he says) He will never be sea sick again!!! This time he called a friend for prescription medication to take and it was supposed to be the best there is. He was able to fish this time but couldn't eat or drink all day and got off the boat feeling awful. He canceled his second day of fishing and drove home. 10 hour drive one way for 2 fish!!! Tonight we had one of the two,,,baked snapper. It was delicious, I thought, but he decided he would rather have catfish from the pond/ha. I think it is because I fry the catfish!

That looks delish! Too bad about the seasickness! Has he tried those little patches you put behind your ear? They work wonders for me. My men like their fish fried, too. Go figure! :)

Yum! We had fried Tilapia last night with cornbread and beans but I would rather have had the snapper! Thank you so much for your comments at grannymountain. I am just flustered over this whole internet explorer error thing I keep getting. My computer tells me it's the Blogspot connection so I sure hope they can fix it. I see some have went to typepad or wordpress when they couldn't get a problem resolved. I do see your comments each day and THANK YOU so much for coming to visit. I refresh the page if it does lock up on a site and then it loads.

I'm typically not a fish lover but that Snapper looks delish!

Your poor hubby. There's nothing worse than being sea sick!

It looks yummy. Sea sick, motion sicness, any of that makes me feel horrible for several days. And with my last pregnancy, believe it or not, I had what felt like motion sickness almost the whole nine months. Sometimes it was so bad, I couldn't even watch TV, the motion of the screen made me feel like I was going to upchuck. Doctor said he couldn't prescribe anything since I was pregnant. So I laid around on the sofa a lot with a cold wet washcloth over my eyes and forehead. No wonder this child has grown up having terrible migraines. My doctor at the time said, you know if you resent this a little, you're going to be a little scik I answered and said I resent this a lot and he said, that's why you're a lot sick. Well let's face it, we already had four kids, ages 17,16,15 and 11, I was almost 37, I thought we were done with diapers and burping. LOL
