Boo!

I just can't believe this year is almost gone and now the holidays are approaching. This morning I saw pumpkins and mums everywhere I looked. The roadside stands are so pretty.

I especially love this stand. All summer the young man that owns the stand has the freshest tomatoes, peas, corn, okra, etc. He made this wagon and takes special orders for them. He had polio as a child and has been in a wheelchair all of his life. He works everyday and is very industrious. I love to stop by and visit with him. He had a bait shop in the little building in the background but found it was too hard to go back and forth from it to the market by himself. He always has a smile and a friendly greeting for everyone. He has so many pumpkins, I can't believe it!

Small pumpkin, large pumpkin, orange, red, white..

I have a hard time deciding....purple, yellow, bronze,,,,what's a girl to do?

One of these babies will make enough pies for a city!!!

I can't decide what color I want. I am sure whatever I buy it will not include the $30. pumpkin/ha Have you put up any arrangements for halloween or fall? I would love to see yours. I need help!!!

What a beautiful pumpkin stand. Love your pictures. I was hoping to get some pumpkins at the Fayetteville Farmer's Market when we were in town a couple of weeks ago, but there weren't any. Too early, I guess.

What is depressing is that I was in Belk's today, and they already have Christmas decorations up.

My favorite time of year! The only thing missing here is the fall foliage. :)

We don't get autumn here in Houston, or so it seems. It's a different kind of seasonal change than when we were in Ohio.

Thanks for the pictures!

I'm with you, where has this time gone? It seems it was just Spring and now we're into Fall. I find this time of year a little depressing. Gets dark earlier, stays dark longer, cooler weather, usually lots of rain, and everything slowly dying off for WINTER. Myself I love the good ole sun shining outside nice and bright, just makes you feel better when looking out the window. Time to shut this computer off for the day.

That is the most beautiful pumpkin/mum stand I have ever seen!! Fall is a wonderful time of the year. I am picking Amanda and family up from DFW this afternoon and we will be heading to the Canton Trade Days tomorrow! The perfect fall outing. I just wish we were going to be able to take in the Texas State Fair during her visit! So much to do, so little time! LOL! Hurray for fall.
