Creamy Cheese Dip

As football kicks off and fall is approaching (despite my objections), BooMama in all of her wisdom is hosting DipTacular!!! What a wonderful idea. I always love and need a new dip recipe!

I got this recipe from a fellow Razorback Tailgater many years ago. It adds a new flavor to the basic cheese dip that we southerners call rotel dip.....

2 lbs velveeta
1 envelope williams chili mix
1 can rotel
1 carton sour cream

Melt cheese in top of double boiler, add remaining ingredients and enjoy!

If you are one who melts your velveeta in the microwave, you must try a double boiler. It really makes a difference....

Have a good weekend all and:

Go Hogs!

Rotel is the greatest invention since sliced bread and Tabasco Sauce!

(A buddy of mine is a Hogs fan. He thinks that any school with a pig as mascot is By-God alright with him!)

Rotel? I think I've heard of it, but have never bought it. And I do melt my Velveeta in the microwave...I'll try the double boiler next time!
