Cinnamon Toast The Right Way

I filed this delicious recipe away in my mind for the perfect day....Today was the day.

My husband is on a hunting trip so it was no bacon, egg, biscuit and gravy day for me. No sir, just cinnamon toast and coffee.

Did you realize that there is a right way and a wrong way to make cinnamon toast? I didn't until I read this hilarious post of someone we all know and love...... The Pioneer Woman! You must read and enjoy the post and try her recipe and then let us know which approach you use or were raised on. I was raised on #1! From this day forward it will be #4 for me !!!!

I hope you all are having a great weekend!

GO HOGS!!!!!

Oh how I hope this is a good game! Fingers crossed for a victory!!!!

LOL! And here I find out that I've been doing it wrong my whole life! I've always put the bread in the toaster, spread with butter and sprinkled the cinn and sugar!

so...I'm intrigued! I'm trying this way the next time! yum!

Well, now I've got a new way to try. I was always a #1 kind of gal. Can't wait to do a little taste test.

Oh, how I love cinnamon toast. I'll go now and read Pioneer Woman's post and see how she does it. I butter my bread and cover every spec with a mixture of cinnamon and sugar and cook it under the broiler. Can't wait to see how she does it. Hmmmm...guess what I'll be having for breakfast tomorrow morning before tennis?

Hugs,
Kat

LOL! I used method #1 my whole life but I have to admit Pioneer Woman's method HAS to taste better with all that butter in it! As Paula Deen says (and i concur): "Everything tastes better with a stick of butter in it!"
