Blanket of Snow

Yes, this is how Arkansas looks today!! The entire state was covered during the night. The southern part of the state got 8 - 10 inches....and for us that is one big snowfall. My area didn't get as much, only around 4 inches, which is plenty for me.

I took a walk in the woods this morning and enjoyed the beauty and the silence!

I am always amazed how the snowflakes arrange themselves so perfectly on every limb or leaf.

A perfect work of art fell from the sky for us to behold!

A flock of geese flew over, looking for a place to land.
Or maybe they were enjoying the view from above.

I am thankful to be home, warm, chili in the oven and to have power!

We are suppose to have 4-5" tomorrow...time will tell.

Beautiful photos! Just beautiful.

Stay warm!

I am glad to hear that you still have power. I was wondering how things would go with everyone in the deep south.

Wow, that is some snowfall for ya'll! It is very pretty, but I'm not very fond of shoveling it, which I did plenty of, when I lived in Maryland. It's very cold here, and I cooked chili today, too. Great minds think alike! lol Stay warm!

You got just the right amount of snow, Nanny! Enough to be beautiful and not enough to cause problems driving and be backbreaking to shovel.

We get more snow on Wednesday, but the predictions are for up to a foot.

Enjoy your winter wonderland!

Beautiful snow, Nanny.... We got it also--but not as much as you did. We got about 4-5 inches --but they say that more is coming tomorrow night and Wed.. We haven't seen the ground since Christmas I don't think....

Enjoy your chili... Yum!!!!
