So True!

Unkown.....I agree with you!
Yesterday, we decided to get away for a few hours and see if maybe the fish were biting.....
Trixie happily assumed her postion as navigator.

The water was calm, the trees just beginning to bear beautiful green leaves.

Sadly the fish did not cooperate. We didn't catch "one" nor did we get a bite. This is not to say we didn't relax....as we cruised the lake I enjoyed a delicious ham sandwich. Fresh bread, thick slice of ham covered with mustard, handful of crunchy cheetos, shared with my ever faithful Trixie. I love the simple life.

Blogger is not included in the simple life.....I worked on this simple post for hours....have you had trouble today?

I thought there was something not quite right with blogger today too, but I can't figure out what it is. It seemed to hesitate when I was making changes. Seems like you won the battle this time!

No Blogger problems today for me.... NOTE that I said TODAY!!!!! ha ha

Sorry you didn't catch any fish--but wasn't it wonderful just to be out there on the water???? I would LOVE it.

Hugs,
Betsy

My Dad loved to go fishing and I often went along with him just to be in his company. I have such nice memories of long summer afternoons sitting on a pier on Long Island with him.

Nanny, your fishing spot looks very similar to Caddo Lake, near here with all the beautiful old cypress trees! Love them. They have a hauntingly mysterious and, at the same time, serene quality. Mesmerizing!

Yes, I tried to add a "page" and cannot put photos on it. Very frustrating. Hopefully, they are working out the bugs! blessings ~ tanna

My kind of life. You are so blessed to be able to do that Granny, while I was having a good day at work.

Lovely pics and that ham sandwich sounds so good! I know what you mean, sometimes Blogger has a mind of it's own.

I love fishing, but not the baiting or the taking of the fish off the hook. :/ Sounds like you had a relaxing time. Boy! I can't believe that trampoline went flying into the pond like that. Crazy! Trixie was the name of my aunt and uncle's beagle -- such a sweet dog she was. I am sure your Trixie is the same. Hope you are having a terrific day. Our internet was working this afternoon but now I am having a bit of a problem again. Best wishes, Tammy

That's why they call it fishing and not catching. I had trouble with our whole server, not just blogger. I resonate with the love of the simple life, too.
