80 Degrees

Yes, it was 80 degrees for a short while yesterday.  We had a nice rain and the temperature dropped to a very pleasant 80.  It was wonderful.  I turned the a/c off, opened the door and enjoyed  fresh air.

Trixie even went outdoors and enjoyed some time out of the house!

Five deer came out and grazed around the pond. Hummingbirds were circling the feeders making that neat little squeaking noise that I love to hear.

We all enjoyed the break from 100+.

Did you happen to see the moon last night? It was beautiful. Full and oh so bright.

Have a great Friday. I'm going out to mow the yard. I love to mow after a rain, no dust!

It didn't rain here, but it hasn't been as hot this week as last, either! I saw the moon & yes, ma'am, it was bright! =)

When you commented about the bar across the top of my page the other night, I'm thinking it was the music player causing problems... but I got rid of it, so everything should be ok, now. Although, last night, a couple blogger friends emailed me asking if I made my blog private cuz when they tried to visit my page, it said only specified authors could see my page... I went into the settings & the box for that was checked, but I didn't check it! I don't know how it got checked or what happened, so don't hesitate to let me know if that happens & thanks so much for letting me know about the music player... I sincerely appreciate it!!! =)

It was a great moon last night. I ventured out and took some pics. Our temps have lowered a bit and it is a welcome relief.

Shoot fire! I missed the moon! I'll have to try to catch it tonight. SOOOOOO glad you got a break in the temps, Nanny. We did get a little rain last night, but are due to hit the highs again today. I'm hoping for more rain tonight (they say we have a chance). Enjoy your day! blessings ~ tanna

The moon shone gorgeous here in Italy, too, last night. It's light filled our living room and I let it bathe me.

No moon here last night only low clouds that promised rain and them laughted at us...

We are finally getting a little cooler weather also, Nanny. I opened up the house and turned off the AC... Feels good. We got quite a bit of rain last night --but so far, none today.

Full moon is tonight I think.
Hugs,
Betsy

I have noticed the moon the past few nights -- so big and bright! It's been 125 here the past couple of days. Hubby came home from work yesterday with red palms -- his steering wheel was so hot from the car sitting outside all day. Our night time temps don't cool down my either -- it's 113 out there right now. They say the low should be 90 but I don't know at what point that actually happens in the night. :/ I love the smell of fresh mown grass. Have a wonderful weekend. Tammy

We haven't received any rain here in central Indiana...and oh do we need rain! Your picture of the moon, saying it is beautiful doesn't really express how pretty I think your shot is. Thank you for sharing.

Yes, 100°+ doesn't sound like fun at all but 80° is quite nice.

Glad you got a little break! 100+ is just unbearable! Maybe you'll get some more rain, too!

Don't you just love to open up the house? I hate being cooped up in the AC all the time!

What does rain look like? What does it feel like? :-) We're in such a drought I think we've all forgotten! We continue to have triple digits daily and it's really miserable.

Yes, the moon was gorgeous! Hope you had a wonderful weekend.
