Celery

I'll bet most of you are just like me......cut the top part off to eat and throw the rest away.
No More! Not since I found this wonderful tip on Pinterest!

Slice the bottom off

Place in a saucer of warm water, overnight.

Then plant!!! Yes, that is all there is to it.  Then wait for your own homegrown celery!

Tomorrow I plant!!!

Too many slugs in the yard. They even crawl into our patio. If we planted anything, the slugs would be all over them. Lol.

We love celery! LOVE! I am addicted to having large amounts of it with Hummus! (peanut butter too!)

Okay...I am gonna try it!

Interesting about planting the bottom part of the stalk. But do you know what gets me more? In all of my years of eating celery, I have never - not even once - thought to cut the whole bottom piece off like that. I am sitting here laughing at the simplicity and wondering why it never dawned on me. Goodness gracious.
