Fresh air....beautiful scenery....catching fish....just what the Dr. ordered...
Oh so relaxing. I think we fished around every tree.
Look at the size of this beauty. I wish I knew how old it is.
The cypress knees are everywhere and the fish love them.

My Daddy used to love to fish ---but he seldom caught anything. He would go on weekends with his buddies down on the Cherokee Lake. When he did come home with some trout, they were delicious --although the basement STUNK for days.... ha ha
Glad you had a good day... Where did you go to see marshy country like this??? Looks like Louisiana to me.

That looks like Caddo Lake! So glad you had a good day fishing!!
Beautiful scenery, much like ours! I grew up fishing, too, with my Dad and brother and still love it. Glad you had a great day and a little shower!
These great lakes are about 15 - 20 miles from our house....Henry Gray Hurricane Lake WMA. Famous for duck, deer hunting and fishing.
Glad you had a fun excursion...and that a sprinkle or two fell in your neck of the woods. =)
Beautiful scenery, Nanny!
My Daddy also loved to fish and he loved when "the blues were running" in the ocean. My husband caught 4 big blue fish last week and we've been eating fish since..lol..thank goodness the boat crew cleaned them for us.
Thanks for your visit...this looks so different to me..to fish in such a place. This earth is so beautiful in every corner of it all :D

I wish I was there for that fish fry! I'm officially turning into my parents. We talked about the meal the whole way home. HA!
