Oprah!!!!

This season has been the best I could ever imagine. If I am not in front of the TV at 4:00 pm, the dvr is set to record. Every show has been interesting, exciting and very emotional. Today's show was all of that and more. I had a huge lump in my throat for the entire hour. To be taken back 45 years when I first saw The Sound of Music was truly an experience. I remember the theater, the seats that rocked, the new technology called "surround sound" and the exquisite voice of Julie Andrews.

Thank you Oprah for this poignant visit to the past!

I cannot wait to purchase the 45Th anniversary, remastered edition of The Sound of Music!

November 2, 2010!!!

I don't watch daytime TV anymore... I used to watch Oprah, Dr. Phil, etc.---but just don't have time anymore to watch... Sounds like a good show though. I loved The Sound of Music.

Cute picture of your grandson in his Halloween costume.

I have missed ALL of Oprah this year! I am at that stage where 4p.m. is the WORST TIME of the day with the kiddos going in FIVE DIFFERENT directions, etc.

I miss it so and I am going to go and watch some of the programs on Hulu!

LOVE The Sound of Music!

Oh, I had to add that Eleanor Parker who played the part of The Baroness in the movie was born in the little village that I live in today! A little jewel in our tiny lil crown!

I watched this yesterday and loved it.
I have stayed at the Von Trapp lodge in Vermont and even done on the Sound of Music tour in Salzburg~ I sang my way through the whole thing.
I'm such a geek!!

I'm not an Oprah fan, but I was sad to hear I missed this show. I hope they repeat and I'll be getting that new HD blu-ray when it's out!

I can't believe Oprah is coming to Australia. Part of me hopes to bump into her somewhere in Melbourne cos I won't be able to get to Sydney to see the show.
