I remember mild winters and we complained because it didn't get cold enough to kill the insects.
I remember wearing jackets on the 4th of July at the lake and you couldn't get in the water.

Amen, Nanny.... This summer has been a summer of EXTREME Heat and DRY for us here on the Cumberland Plateau....
Just don't know what I'd do --if I didn't have the weather to talk about... ha

You are so right. It seems like we're never satisfied. We are currently very hot, here, but the rest of the summer has been normal, with plentiful rainfall, so I'm trying not to complain. :)
Amen. Just trying to make do with what we have. Splash park and drive in burger at Keller's was just what we needed to beat the heat. Now I'm off to the shower, crank the air down, and get on the couch! Lila is already asleep :)

Thankfully I've done alot of traveling this summer and haven't been home to feel the heat. Normally I end up hibernating in the summer, I'm just not a "heat" person.
Oh boy..if wishes were fishes we'd all have a fry! Remember that one? Yes, we always find something to wish for don't we?! ;D

It is hot. But, I'm still lovin' it! 102 when we were driving home from the golf course earlier... but, that beats 32 to me any day of the week! LOL! Think cool thoughts, Nanny!

nanny, I said that same thing last night! Why do our winters have to involve so much ice and our summer so much heat! 107 is too hot for me!
