Gloomy Monday

It's pretty much a black and white day.  Fog, rain, off and on, just gloomy.

I navigated the crowd at Wal Mart to get the grocery shopping done. (many others had the same idea)

We have a business in town that does nothing but shell pecans.  It's a big operation and they were so busy today.  I bought a large sack to put in freezer after making a couple of pecan pies for Thursday.

Pot of vegetable soup (made from leftover stew) is simmering and making the house smell wonderful.

Spent a few minutes on my elliptical.....I have forgotten how much it hurts.  (or maybe I'm just horribly out of shape....yep that's it)

And now I'm off to read many blogs and catch up with my friends.   Are any of you on Pinterest?  It's my newest addiction!  Would love to follow you if you are. If you'd like an invite, let me know.

I hope you all are having a great Monday and maybe some sunshine.

We are supposed to have sunshine by Wednesday. But, I still can't complain about the bit of rain mixed in the gloomy gray. We are still so far behind!

Gloomy, wet day here too. We need rain desperately but so far, just very small amounts. It is supposed to storm later tonight so we shall see.

I'm on Pinterest ~ addicting huh? :-)

Hope that you and your loved ones have a very Happy Thanksgiving!

Isn't soup the best? I'm going to make a big pot today.

The only soup I cook is from a Progresso can!

Yesterday, it hit 83 degrees so I turned on the a/c. Hope it's cooler today.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

I do love soup, too. Foggy, rainy days are perfect for soup. Wish I could have a bowl.
